Stef Briggs performs regularly in the Denver area, as well as regionally with Matic, Coral Creek and American Beauty. Matic just recorded a new CD of original music in August of 2012. Stef is also part of Trunko, Kirkland, and Briggs, a guitar/harmonica/piano trio specializing in blues, roots, and classic rock. In the past she has formed her own bands The Garage Doors, The Deadbeats and Fringe Element. She was also the longtime keyboardist for 90s Denver jamrock band Chautaqua/ESD. She has been a mainstay in the Colorado music scene since childhood.
Stef teaches at Swallow Hill Music Association, as well as privately. She is also on the music teams and plans music for two local churches, adding gospel flair to traditional hymn tunes.
"I'm honored to be asked to host a Ziggies open mic! The Ziggies jam is where I found musicians to form some of my earliest music projects. I've hosted other jams but, this one has special meaning to me and Ziggies is so legendary. Join Carla and I at Ziggies and see what's cookin' on Wednesday nights!"
